RARE Republic Chinese Cloisonne Charger Antique Enamel Plate in Box. Extremely fine, high-end cloisonne enamel charger made during the Chinese Republic period. Included with what is most likely the original box. Heavy reinforced box of higher quality than a typical box of the period. Beautiful cloisonne plate depicting two geese, among flowers, along the water with gold wire. Back of plate is ornately decorated, indicative of high quality pieces produced during the period. Amazing condition with only light pitting from age. Enamel is in excellent condition. Gold wire is very vibrant. Charger measures 12 inches. Charger weighs approx 2-1/2 lbs. Box on its own weighs approx 4 lbs.
